Program Description


ADHD in women remains one of the most under identified and undertreated presentations in mental health practice. Research consistently shows that women with ADHD present differently than the male-centered diagnostic criteria on which the DSM was based and that many women reach adulthood, mid-life, or beyond before receiving an accurate diagnosis, if they receive one at all.

This 3-hour live, interactive webinar equips therapists with the clinical knowledge and practical skills to identify, assess, and effectively treat ADHD in women including those presenting without a formal diagnosis. The program examines the neurobiological and sociocultural factors that cause ADHD to be systematically missed in female clients and provides evidence-based frameworks for clinical intervention.
